Two cottages, situated between Strasbourg and Saverne, 3 kms from the northern gateway to the Alsace wine road.

Our two sites in Alsace "The old Tannery" have been re-fitted in a new house built on the site of the original tannery that was active in the 18th and up to the beginning of the 19th century.

Situated in Wasselonne, a small town 25 mins north of Strasbourg, renowned for its square tower and other emblems of trades of a bygone era, the cottages nestle quietly at the end of a courtyard, far from the sounds of busy traffic.

Their ideal location allows the easy visiting of not only Alsace but, Lorraine as well as the black Forest in nearby Germany. We're situated 3 kms from the start of the famous wine road, 25 kms drive from Strasbourg, 30 kms from the German border, 15 kms from Saverne, 34 kms from the famous inclining plain Saint-Louis Arzwiller (ascent by boat), 28 kms from Obernai, 15 kms from Wangenbourg, nicknamed "The Swiss Alsace" ...
